Előszó:
Ezt a történetet még a bannolásom előtt kezdtem el írni (amit adminok teljesen ok nélkül mértek rám, de ez itt mindegy), és ez a ban elég nagy törést okozott bennem a történet szempontjából - talán érthető módon. Part VI. A legbüszkébb birodalom - Magyarország


Az erep nagy birodalmai közül minden bizonnyal Magyarország futotta be a legkülönösebb, leghihetetlenebb karriert - a megszűnés széléről a dicsőség csúcsára; a két régióban szűkölködéstől a birodalomig, amely három földrészen terült el, és közel 50 régiót foglalt magába, 13 országtól elfoglalva; amely megszerezte az összes lehetséges nyersanyagrégiót; és amely a párszáz elkeseredett béta-játékostól ért fel az index-boomok csúcsaira és afölé... bocsáss meg nekem kedves olvasó, de itt nem tudok objektív lenni -- ez az én országom, az én népem, a büszkeségem, a szeretetem és egyben a bánatom is... eMagyarország.

Az ország első hónapjait a múlt köde rejti; a legendák szerint francia és román kalandorok játszótere, és csak a kincstár kifosztását jegyzi fel az emlékezet, még az elnökök neveit sem. Akkor kel csak életre, amikor a pápai Türr István szakközépiskola diákjai felfedezik, és beregisztrálnak, hogy Imre Barbarossza elnökségei alatt, januártól márciusig felépítsék az ország működésének, gazdaságának alapjait. Diplomáciai viszonyt is megpróbálnak létesíteni a szomszédos országokkal; március végén eMo. 200 főnyi lakosságával még a régióban is gyenge országnak számít. Még így is terveket szőnek a még gyengébb Szlovákia meghódítására - de amikor áprilisban megjelenik a háborús modul, a csehek foglalják el Szlovákiát, elhappolva az osztrákok és a mi orrunk elől is. Még a kanadai háborúkban is részt vesz pár ember, akik majdnem ott is ragadnak.

A kor nemzetközi diplomáciája a két formálódó szövetség körül mozog; az Északi és a Mediterrán szövetségek nevükben is mutatják valószínű tagjaikat; így a Mediterrán, amelyhez eMo. i húz ekkor még Romániát is magába foglalja - Haglee őket hívja a mérleg nyelvének a kettő között. Ezt a szerepet be is töltik, amikor az Északi Szövetséghez csatlakoznak, az Atlantis elődjéhez. eMagyarország az északi fenyegetés elől a Mediterrán szövetség felé fordul, és májusban annak tagjává is válik. Ekkortájt alakul meg és kerül a multi-vádak kereszttüzébe az MHP is . A háborús modul és az északi fenyegetések a hadsereg megformálását is elősegítik, és júniusban ArCrimson hadat üzen a Cseh Köztársaságnak, és elfoglalja a volt szlovák régiókat, a Felvidéket tőlük. A csehek az Északi Szövetséghez fordulnak segítségért, de az nem küld csapatokat, és Vaclavnak végül, sok időhúzás után békét kell kötnie, hogy megtarthassa a saját régióikat.

A felvidéki háború után a mindig aktív Haglee megreformálja a politikai és katonai szervezeteket, hogy az országot erősebbé és gazdaságilag is működőképessé tegye; és ezzel együtt megalkotja a történelem legvitatottabb rendszerét, a királyságot. Júliusban, egy vitatott kongresszusi határozattal eMagyarország néhány napra királysággá változik, amelynek királya I. Kárpáthy Antal - de az ezt követő viták szétfeszítik a koalíciót, és a következő választásokon győztes PPL kroovyval eltörli a királyságot. A politikai sárdobálás, amely IRL fenyegetésekbe is torkollik, sok játékost ijeszt el a játéktól, beleértve Francis Hunyadi-t, a kor emblematikus politikus-újságíróját. Sokan mennek el Dél-Afrikába, hogy egy kvázi PTO-t hajtsanak végre ott, de a kísérlet rövidéletű, és a többség visszatér Mo-ra. A lakosság ekkor 600 körül van, de nagyon sok az inaktív karakter.

Augusztus végén jön létre az Atlantisz, majd erre válaszul a PEACE GC is (27-én), amelynek Mo. alapító tagja lesz. Ahogy ezt mind tudjuk, a két szövetség nem várt sokáig a háborúkkal, hiszen még az MPP-k előtt Spanyolo. megtámadja Mexikót, míg Románia Magyarországot - sokan ezt hívják az első világháborúnak. Román részről a támadás ürügye Szlovákia magyar elfoglalása volt, de nyílt titok, hogy Alex Craciun a hódítást nevezte meg a játék lényegének, és ez lesz az Atlantisz vezérlőelve is: elfoglalni mindent, amit tudnak. Románia ekkor cca. 4000 fős ország, míg Mo. valamivel 1000 alatt van, MPP-k nélkül - a háború kimenetele nem sokáig lehetett kérdéses. Az újonnan létrejött PEACE eleinte nem sok segítséget tudott küldeni, és miután a kor legvéresebb csatájában megvédik Budapestet, az erők kimerülnek, és a háború további része már román diadalmenet. Augusztus 4-ére, amikor adminok a bugok miatt leállítják a háborús modult már csak két régió tartozik Magyarországhoz (Győr és Pécs), valamint két szlovák régió. A szegedi high grain is elveszik, amelyenek később, a baby-boom idején lett volna komoly szerepe.



Az eredeti régiók, és főleg a főváros, Budapest elvesztése hatalmas sokk Magyarországnak. A játékosok többsége román területeken reked, nem kapnak munkát, nincs pénzük, nem tudnak elutazni sem - a xenofóbabb románok feljelentgetik spam miatt azokat, akik magyarul írnak, meg mindenkit, akiben veszélyt látnak, pl. az eRMDSZ tagjait. Ennek eredményeképpen nagyon sok játékos hagyja abba, és a maradék párszáznak sincs sok reménye semmire. Az új fővárosban, Győrben mindössze pár százan, a legmakacsabbak laknak, és próbálják meg a romokból újjáépíteni az ország gazdaságát - hiszen a cégek többsége is Romániába került át - valamin próbálnak új játékosokat idecsábítani. A hónap végefelé Rizsa, majd Rommel Erwin próbál egyezkedni a régiókról, de Alex Craciun feltételei teljesíthetetlenek - a régiók visszaadásáért 2000 goldot követel, valamint a maradék szlovák régiók átadását. Érzékeltetésül ekkoriban eMagyarország bevétele cca. néhány tucat gold havonta. Rommel Erwin mindössze egy hétig elnök, mielőtt lemond a politikai támadások miatt - a legendák egy botrányról is suttognak, de a részletek az idők homályába vesznek. Így Morreau vezeti az országot a hónap végéig, és ekkor kezd el feltűnni adam111 azaz Adam Zahovay is.

A V.1 bevezetése még inkább ellehetetleníti a magyar gazdaságot, hiszen nyersanyagok nélkül esély sincs a felzárkózásra a gazdagabb országokhoz. A kiegyensúlyozatlan gazdasági szerkezet, a nyersanyagokért folytatott verseny és a munkaerő hiánya gyakorlatilag lehetetlenné teszi egy erős gazdaság létrejöttét. Mintegy mellékesen, amikor Magyarország egyetlen MPP-je lejár Indonéziával, Románia a háborúmodul újraindításakor elfoglalja Pécset - az ország történetének legmélyebb pontja ez, amikor a két szlovák régió mellett csak Győrt birtokoltuk. Az év végét egy MNB botrány zárja le - Lord Gera kitalálja a nevetségesen egyszerű jelszót, és ellopja az ország pénzét - ami később visszakerül Adamhoz.

Az ország talpraállítása egy akkora feladat volt, ami igazi vezéregyéniséget igényelt; a maiak keveset tudnak Adam Zahovay-ról, de mi, akik itt voltunk 2008 utolsó hónapjaiban, tudjuk, hogy nélküle nem létezhetett volna a ma ismert Magyarország. Én az első elnöksége idején regisztráltam, és ha akkor nem is annyira láttam át a dolgokat, de azóta világos nekem, hogy ő és az akkori vezetés mekkora munkát végzett el. Ez volt az első időszak, amikor az ország lakossága számottevően nőtt, a blogokról és a Travianról toborzott emberekkel - nem egy baby-boom, de az év végére a lakosság már 2000 körül jár, és ez elég embert jelent ahhoz, hogy a Brazíliában és Norvégiában működő nyersanyagbányákat ellássák munkaerővel. Erre szükség van, ahogy akkoriban kihasználtak minden lehetőséget, minden kiskaput, hogy az országot előrevigyék. Adam a románokkal is folytatja a tárgyalásokat, és ahogy a népesség, az alkupozíció nő, úgy javulnak a feltételek is - egy ponton kis híja volt a békeszerződés aláírásának, csak adminok nem voltak hajlandóak a megegyezés szerinti automatikus havi törlesztést megcsinálni.



De minden megváltozik, amikor Románia úgy dönt, hogy elfoglalja az oroszok nyersanyagtermelő régióit - és a norvég fennhatóság alól éppen felszabadult Oroszország a PEACE-hez fordul segítségért. Ez akkor, és még sokáig minket jelentett, hiszen románokkal nyitott háborúnk volt, és egy támadás az eredeti régiókban blokkolta Romániát úgy, hogy nem aktiválta az MPP-ket.Így januárban Hekkat egy majdnem aláírt békeszerződés után megtámadja Székesfehérvárt, és a románok visszavonulnak a csatából; sajnos a bugok miatt nem tudtunk tovább támadni, és közben románok meg tudták támadni az oroszokat. A régió visszaszerzése nagy győzelemnek számított itthon, de románok szószegésként értékelték (hiszen a békeszerződést szóban már megkötöttük), így a további tárgyalások lehetősége egy időre bezárult. A tárgyalások felfüggesztése és a szükséges blokkolás hozza el a híres-hírhedt SGP (Szeged) csaták sorát - sokszor próbáltuk meg visszaszerezni a búzatermő régiót, de katonailag még messze nem voltunk pariban románokkal, és a háborús modul bugjai is sokszor ellenünk voltak. A szlovák régiók visszaadása egy esetleges megkerülő manővert volt hivatott megakadályozni; akkoriban románok Nyugat-Európa, ill a PEACE erős embere, Olaszország felé tervezgettek hadjáratokat.

Február az én elnökségem, és bármi mást is tettem/tettünk, az utókor ebből szinte csak az index-boomra emlékezik. Február 9 megváltoztatta az új világ arculatát, és sem azelőtt, sem azután nem regisztrált annyi ember erepre, mint akkor, kb egy hét alatt - eMo. lakossága a hónap végére már 6000 körül van, és bármennyire is gúnyolódik rajtunk az Atlantiszos média, hogy bébik, csecsemők, meg erőtlenek vagyunk, mi tudtuk, hogy az akkori kiskatonák (tíz)ezrei egy napon erősebbek lesznek a régi nagyhatalmak pártucat tankjánál... tudtuk, hogy az idő a mi oldalunkon áll, csak bent kell tartani a játékosokat a játékban, még ha adminok soha semmit sem tettek is ez érdekében (azóta sem btw). Dicsekvés nélkül mondhatom, hogy a szociális és oktatási rendszerünk magasan túlszárnyalt mindent amit más országok akkor használtak - ami ma mindenütt természetes, annak a nagyrészét mi dolgoztuk ki akkor, mi tettük le az alapjait. Az újoncoknak tréningháborúkat szerveztünk (ez akkoriban nem volt szokásos, a legtöbb ország soha nem is látott harcot!), és ezekhez néha kényszerű kompromisszumokat kellett kötnünk - mint például a sokat vitatott szerződést Németországgal, amivel megszereztük Burgenlandot, de a németeket az Atlantisz felé löktük... és az erep egyik leghihetetlenebb eseménye is ilyen volt - az éles háború közepén a románokkal, egy tréningcsata - amibe azért mentek bele, mert azt hitték, az egy hét tűzszünet nekik jó, holott mi tudtuk, hogy addig nem is lesz támadás. A tárgyalások is elindultak megint, hiszen dsalageanu Ázsia felé akart menni, és lezárni a nyugati frontot - de ekkorra már az ő feltételei sem voltak elfogadhatóak számunkra.

A növekvő, de katonailag még nem erős lakosságot ekkor kezdjük el a PTO-k doktrínájára nevelni - a szavazatod többet ér, mint az ütésed szlogenje még hónapokig visszhangzik az emberek tudatalattijában - célt és élményt adva nekik a jelenben, amíg a katonai erő lassan növekszik és a jövőre nézve ad célt nekik. Ez volt a másik összetevője annak, hogy a magyar baby-boomból ennyi ember maradt a játékban, míg másoknál a tömeg hamar elment. Így március a híres PTO-k hónapja lesz, amelyekről máshol részletesen írok és egyben az első koalíciós kormányé az MHP és a KARD között, amely aztán sokáig vezeti sikerekre és dicsőségre az országot. Az együttműködés nem volt mentes a vitáktól, súrlódásoktól, de Feherlofia Koppany, Shaok és Kampec vezetésével május és július között nemcsak visszaszereztük az ország eredeti régióit, de a PEACE-szel együtt visszaszorítottuk Romániát az eredeti határai közé, MPP-kkel védett országokkal körülvéve; elfoglaltuk Európa jórészét, felszabadítottuk Szerbiát, és továbbmenve meghódítottuk Észa-Amerikát, Kanadát teljesen, míg az USÁ-t egy régióra visszaszorítva... a stratégiai zsenialitásuk ezeknek az embereknek nem hagyható ki egyetlen történetből sem... függetlenül attól, hogy ki mit gondol róluk, ill. az azóta tett dolgaikról, az ő elnökségeik a magyar birodalom fénykorát jelentették, azét a birodalomét, amely három kontinensen terült el, Heilongjiangtól Nordjyllandon át Százkacsavárig, 50 régiót foglalt magába 13 országból, minden nyersanyagból büszkélkedhetett high régióval, és 20 k fölötti lakossága nemcsak a világ legnagyobb GDP-jét produkálta, de az erep valaha volt legnagyobb és legerősebb hadsereget is, akiktől rettegett mindenki...





Május azonban nemcsak az Atlantisz és Románia bukását hozta el, de néhány kevésbé dicsőséges eseményt is - mint a hírhedt arany-bug újbóli eljövetelét, amely a nemzeti valuták között okozott hatalmas bukásokat; előbb a szerb monetaryt döntik be a sokszázezer fakelt RSD-vel, majd a magyart is megpróbálják - mielőtt adminok lezárják a piacokat és a donatelést, ami pár napig a feketepiacokra kergeti az embereket. A magyar diplomácia Adam óta soha nem volt túl acélos, mivel kevesen tudják levetkőzni az arroganciájukat és egy újabb hibát elkövetve Feherlo ellenünk hangolja a teokratákat - a PTO-t vagy nem szabad elkezdeni vagy muszáj megnyerni, különben a célország érthetően ellenséges lesz. Ez az esemény később igen sok csatában volt meghatározó... Eközben az Atlantiszt szétveri a svédek mohósága, amivel a szintén tag Németország régióira vágynak, és a tagországokat is megosztják ezzel. A spanyol PTO nem sikerül, mivel Indónak szüksége van a segítségünkre a román PTO ellen. Ukrajna egyenként visszakapja a régióit, mivel Magyarország a jobban védhető Urálban akarja a vasrégiót állandóra birtokolni.

Így június igen sok harcot és régiócserét hoz, ahogy Románia még megpróbálja visszaszerezni a podoliai bányákat és fegyvergyárakat - katonai eszközökkel sikertelenek, így később más módszerekhez fordulnak - propagandaerejük mindig is jó volt, és ezt használják fel az ukránok elidegenítésére Mo-tól. De az elnökválasztások még mindenütt PEACE sikereket hoznak, míg itthon Shaok győzelmét. Mégis, szinte azonnal impeachet kap; az elittel kapcsolatos tervei, a kezdeti bizalmatlanság sokakban vele szemben, és a tervezett kormányának a felelőtlen viselkedése rávetíti az árnyékát az elnökségére. Mégis, a kés a vajban hadjárat során a svédek és lengyelek által elfoglalt Németország felszabadítása csont nélkül zajlik Olaszország és a franciák közreműködésével - hiszen ekkorra már katonailag is a legerősebbek egyike vagyunk. A másik oldalról viszont a gazdaság szépen fejlődik, ahogy ez elvárható is volt a kitűnő gazdasági szakember Shaoktól; a pénzügyek rendbehozása, a NAT akkor is szép teljesítmény, ha a végén foltot vet rá a következő kormányt megzsaroló szerződéstervezet, amelyet adminok érvénytelenítenek is, és az eMNB, NAT jelszavának visszatartása. A sok fiaskó után a katonai részleg is egy szép fegyverténnyel búcsúzik - a Vajdaságért vívott csata, amelyet Horvátország és 9 MPP-je ellen nyertünk meg örökké emlékezetes dicsőség marad. A kongresszusi választások hozzák el az erep legnagyobb szabású sikeres PTO-ját: a babyboomoló szerbekkel közösen a horvát kongresszus 57 %-át foglaljuk el - visszafizetve ezzel az ő PTO-jukat Szerbiában és az ország kifosztását. Itthon viszont egy botránytól hangos a média, amikor Mikrobi, a Feherló elleni tiltakozásaként ellopja a kongresszus orgját, és nem adja át a fórumos passot sem a megválasztott házelnöknek. Az elnökválasztás egy hatalmas versenyfutás Shaok és Kampec között, amelyet az utóbbi nyer meg - Kampec katonai tapasztalata és hozzáértése ígéretesebb a jövőre nézve.



A hadjárat nem is várat sokat magára - július 10-én átvesszük Skóciát az átálló angoloktól, hogy hídfőállásnak használhassuk Kanada felé, míg Japán hadüzenetével nyit utat Indonéziának Hawai felé - miközben Franciaország, Portugália és Oroszország a french toast idejéből származó aktív MPP-kkel áll ugrásra készen, hogy beléphessen a hadjáratba. Előbb azonban a PEACE egy hirtelen manőverrel felszabadítja a litvánok high grain régióját, Zemgalét a finnek ellenében - ez és más segítségek a balti államokat is a PEACE oldalára állítják. Majd eljön a T-nap, július 13-a - az észak-amerikai hadjárat nyitócsatája, amelyet Franciaország kezd meg Kanada ellen, majd az oroszok folytatnak Alaszkában. Magyarország a volt kanadai régiókban tör előre az angolok segítségével, anélkül, hogy MPP-t aktiválnánk, csak a sereget költöztetve oda, ahol kell. Nem írom itt le a hadjárat részleteit, csak a végkimenetelét számunkra: a 4 kanadai és három amerikai régió elfoglalását, és a régiócserék sorát, amellyel kanadán, oroszokon és iránon keresztül eljutottunk Heilongjiangig, azaz ahogy mi hívjuk Helókitty-ig. Ez ekkorra már igencsak égetően sürgős, hiszen Urált és Kaukázust vissza kell adnunk a növekvő népességű oroszoknak.

Itthon már megint kisebb botrányoktól hangos a közélet, hiszen a Podoliai és a horvát csata elvesztése miatt sokan elégedetlenek. Ukrajna ekkortájt kezdi - román nyomásra - a köpönyegforgató külpolitikáját, és Románia felé kacsintgat. A kongresszusi PTO-k két súlyos veresége; az olaszországi horvát és a németországi lengyel akciók egyrészt elidegenítik az olaszokat a PEACE-től, másrészt meghozzák az erep legnagyobb pénzügyi fiaskóját is. A lengyelek ugyanis több mint 600 k DEM-et nyomtatnak, de nem tudják kiutalni azt, és így Gobbával megegyezve elfoglaljuk a régióik többségét, hogy a kinyomtatott pénz a magyar kincstárba kerüljön (majd a nagyrésze vissza a németekhez). A választás Falban meglepetésszerű győzelmét hozza, akit sokan csak bábelnöknek tartanak, és hogy nem az, azt egy igencsak szomorú módon mutatja meg - egy éjszaka alatt kifosztva a kincstárat, elkótyavetyélve az állami cégeket, megvéve az értéktelen teokrata cégeket a magyar történelem egyik legsötétebb lapját írta meg. Az impeachment nem tudta helyrehozni amit tett, rlazol, aki elnökké vált szabadságon volt éppen - nagy elnök lehetett volna, a legnagyobbak egyike, ha nem így kapja meg a kormányrudat...

Mégis, mindezek ellenére is, ezek voltak a magyar birodalom legfényesebb hónapjai. Olyannyira dicsőségesek, hogy innen már nem tudtunk feljebb kapaszkodni, nem volt már olyan cél, ami megérte volna, nem volt olyan ellenfél, aki felért volna hozzánk... így hát magunk ellen fordultunk, és olyan ellenség híján, aki legyőzhetett volna minket, mi magunk tettük meg ezt a szívességet az új világnak. Azt hiszem... igen, azt hiszem, a spanyol arannyal kezdődött a bukás, a lejtőn lefelé haladás... azelőtt is voltak viták, veszekedések, még éles törések is (mint pl. Burgenland és a PEACE érdekek viszonya), de ez emelte a korábbi vitákat egy magasabb szintre. Ez Svájc elfoglalása után történt, mivel blokkolni kezdtek minket, és így meghódítottuk az ekkorra már ellenséges teokraták hazáját - ők innen Dél-Koreába költöztek át, az oroszokat bosszantani. Konkrétan az történt, hogy a spanyol állam a kincstárat, mintegy 16 000 aranyat úgy próbált meg elrejteni a figyelő szemek elől, hogy egy kis cégbe utalta be - nem véve észre, hogy az kint volt a cégpiacon mindössze 35 goldért. Mivel a magyar titkosszolgálat (ami létezik, de azért titkos, hogy ne nagyon tudjanak róla) folyamatosan figyelte az arany útját, így tudtak erről a donateről is, és Feherlo megvette a céget - az arannyal együtt, ami benne volt. Adminok is vizsgálták az ügyet de mivel teljesen szabályos volt, így visszakaptuk a pénzt, ill. a franciák az adó-részét.





Napokig a spanyolokon nevetett az egész világ ekkor... de mi, itthon és a PEACE-ben is elkezdtünk vitatkozni rajta, hogy hova ment, mi lesz belőle, miért és kinél...ez egy igen ronda és elfajult veszekedéssé vált, ami sokak szájízét megkeserítette akkoriban, mind itthon, mind a szövetségben, ahol a franciák arroganciája először okozott komoly nézeteltéréseket. És ez még csak nem is volt a vége... rlazol elnökségének utolsó napján jött el eMagyarország legsötétebb pillanata: a burgenlandi polgárháború. Az egész azzal kezdődött, hogy néhány dél-amerikai átköltözött Ausztriába, hogy új hazát építsenek, és visszakérték, mint eredeti régiójukat Burgenlandot is, amelyet a legtöbben már eredeti magyar régióként tartottunk számon. A kongresszus leszavazta a visszaadást, de reggel egy polgári engedetlenség keretében a Láthatatlan Légió kezdeményezésével RW indult Burgenlandban. Az RW totálisan megosztotta a magyar társadalmat, sokan érveltek IRL érvekkel, sokan a PEACE érdekeinek figyelembevételével, sokan más érvekkel - de az biztos, hogy soha más ennyire nem osztott még meg minket, mint ez. Rengetegen mentek el, az országból vagy a játékból is ekkor - mindkét oldalról. A felkavart érzelmek erőssége volt az ami a legmeglepőbb volt egy egyszerű játékban....

Szeptember aztán, a katarzis után csendesebb időket hozott, Imre Norbi a gazdaságot is rendbetette, és diplomáciai tárgyalásokat folytatott Svájc felszabadítására is - azonban egy bug miatt későn szabadult fel a régió, nem lett kongresszusuk, és DomiBoss, az addigi elnök kénye-kedve szerint hozott és szavazott meg törvényeket. Később Svájc az Edenhez csatlakozott, amit még ma is mind árulásnak tartunk - még inkább mint az ukránok tetteit, hiszen őket PTO-zták a románok, és így lettek félig-meddig kényszerítve, zsarolva az átállásra. Ekkor vesztettük el egyenként a kanadai régiókat is... a kezdeti könnyed, majd egyre nehezebb védekezés a folyamatos blokkok mellett... ahogy Eden újjászerveződött, és átvette a kezdeményezést; és megalkották az EMC-t, az akkori idők legütőképesebb mobil hadseregét, amellyel a PEACE sokáig nem tudta felvenni a versenyt - és a megosztott magyar közösség, amely folyamatosan befelé vérzett, nem tudta felvenni a kesztyűt. A hónap végére már az összes kanadai régió elveszett, Svájc és Ausztria felszabadult, és már csak Helókitty, valamint a stratégiai hídfőállás, Nordjylland volt magyar kézen az eredeti régiók mellet. Október és Kolozs elnöksége nem hoz lényegi változást, csak a meglepetésszerű támadást Szlovákia ellen, amelyeket már Termetes Samu fejez be, mint új elnök. De a volt birodalmi álmok ezen új fellángolása nem tart sokáig - adminok segítségével Lengyelország és az EMC visszafoglalja Szlovákiát, és később a blokktól tartva Pozsonyt is visszaadjuk. Termetes Samu és az SZP kormányzásának a végét is Burgenland jelenti; a 'csak úgy' betámadott szövetséges esete akkora ellenkezéssel találkozik itthon, hogy Samu lemond, és raszta veszi át a kormányzást, as the first CNRP president.



Azóta eMagyarország csak egy dologra koncentrál - Helókitty védelmére, odaköltöztetve majd az egész lakosságot, feladva minden más régiót ahol blokkolhatnának, és felhalmozva a védelmére aranyat, fegyvereket. Közben a PEACE is szétszakadt; Franciaország inaktivitása, a növekvő bürokrácia és akadékoskodás azt eredményezi, hogy az aktívabb országok sorban kilépnek, és egy új szövetséget alkotnak, a Főnix-et. Mára megint egy világháború előcsatározásai közepette vagyunk - Eden a Phoenix high vas régióira vágyik, Karnatakára, Liaoniangra és Heilongjiangra. A terveik láthatóan készen vannak, altattak minket elég sokáig az erőtlenség látszatával, és megosztoztak már előre ezeken a régiókon; és amikor önmagukban nem elegek, hát adminok és 'véletlen' bugok segítenek nekik ellenünk. Mi, magyarok, az indók ösvényére léptünk; a folyamatosan csökkenő népesség ugyan egyre erősebb, de egyre kevesebb és megosztottabb is. Még azt képzeljük magunkról, hogy az új világ elsőszámú hatalma vagyunk, holott ez már nem igaz; valójában az ellenfelek már túlnőttek rajtunk, mert együtt tudnak működni - és mert tudnak aranyat venni, felhalmozni és költeni amikor kell. De mégis, még egyszer megmutattuk, hogy ha valóban összefogunk, akkor senki nem állhat meg előttünk; amikor az egész ország egyként sorakozott fel a Székely légió kriminalizálása ellen, akkor még az adminok is meghátráltak előlünk.

És így fogunk elbukni, talán még nem holnap, vagy a jövő héten - de a vég elkerülhetetlen. Ez már tendencia, és ha a veszély, a fenyegetettség nem tudott minket egyesíteni, ha az érdekellentétek akkorák tudtak lenni, hogy emberek Magyarország ellen üssenek éles csatában (nem polgárháborúban)... akkor ott már nem nagyon van visszaút. Sokan elmentek, sokan el is fognak - még az adminok ellenünk ítélt döntései miatt is, hiszen ellenük aztán végképp nem tudhatunk győzni még ha magunk elegek is lennénk ehhez; hát minek próbálkozni vele. Mégis, az ő cselekedeteik csak egy faktor volt eMagyarország bukásában; az elkerülhetetlen megosztottság, a kivédhetetlen hibák, tévedések, és a saját ostobaságunk, hogy inkább egymással harcoljunk mint a közös ellenség ellen mind együtt vezetett ide.

Mégis...

Én örülök, hogy láthattam eMagyarországot birodalommá nőni.

Én büszke vagyok arra, amit közösen elértünk itt erepen.

Szomorú is vagyok, hogy ide jutottunk... de ez az élet.

Így hát... ez volt eMagyarország, az erep legbüszkébb birodalma!

I started writing this before admins banned me (unfairly), and when the ban happened, it caused a big breaking point in the writing. I think it is understandable. It made me not wanting to finish it at all, and it shows on the style too. That is life...

Part VII. The proudest empire - Hungary

Of all the New World empires, Hungary run the strangest, and most unlikely career - from the almost nonexistence till the highest glory; from a mere two regions with no resources, to an empire that spanned three continents, conquered almost 50 regions from 13 countries, had all the necessary resources; from a few hundred embittered Betans to the robust baby-booms of the index-generations and beyond... Forgive me, dear reader, but I cannot be objective here - this is my country, my homeland, my pride, my joy and my sorrow... eHungary.

The first months of eHungary are hidden by the fog of history; the country is the playground of mainly French and Romanian adventurers, not even the Presidents' names are written down, only their robbing of the treasury is known from this era. The country comes alive when the Türr István Secondary School's students from Pápa discover the game, and register here to build a country and an economy - and they do it from January till March, under Imre Barbarossza's presidency. They also try to build up diplomatic connections with the neighbouring countries. By the end of March, the population is slightly over a 200 citizens, making Hungary a weak country, even among the neighbours. Even though, the plan to occupy the even weaker Slovakia, is already in the air - but when the war modul starts in April, the Czech are the first to conquer Slovakia, thereby pissing off both Austria and Hungary, who also wanted to do it. Some Hungarians take part in the Canada-USA war as well, for the request of the Canadian government.

Diplomacy at the time is turning around the two forming alliances, the Northern and the Mediterranean; the first was composed mainly by the Nordic countries, while the latter of the latin ones - at a time including Romania too, whom Haglee calls the ones tipping the scale - which they eventually did, by later joining the Northern alliance, that in time became Atlantis, and evolving to the Eden nowadays. Because of the threat frm the North, Hungary also turns towards the Mediaterranean alliance, meaning for a while having MPP with Romania too - and in May becomes a member of the alliance. Domestically, the month is characterised the formation of Hungary's Nr.1. party, the MHP - also bringing the first of the many election scandals, as the party is accused of heavy multying. The war module, and the northern battles also spur the formation of the military, and in June, ArCrimson declares war to the Czech Republik, and conquer the former Slovakian regions from them. The Czechs turn to the Northern Alliance, but it does not send help, so Vaclav finally, after much background negotiations, agrees to a peace-treaty, thereby saving the original Czech regions from occupation.

After the war, the always active Haglee reforms the political structures of the state, and tries to build up the country economically and militarily too - and also creates the probably most heatedly debated office in eHungary: the royalty. In July, for a few days eHungary officially becomes a Kingdom, with I. Kárpáthy Antal as King; but the ensuing elections bring the victory of the anti-royalists, and kroovy asks the congress to terminate the kingdom, which it votes so. The political debates cause many players to leave the country or even the game, including Francis Hunyady, an emblematic journalist-politician of the time. Many who leave go to South-Africa, and try a half-hearted PTO there, but the attempt is short-lived as they return to Hungary. August also sees the appearance of the Hungarian version (copy) of Dioism, called djozikeism, that nowadays lives on amongst the Hungarians living in Malaysia. The population at the time is around 600, but a lot of these are inactive players.

The end of August sees the formation of Atlantis (22nd) and as an answer, the formation of the PEACE GC (27th), of which Hungary is also part as founding member. As we all know it did not take long for the two powers to start the wars - before the MPPs could be done, Spain attack Mexico and Romania attacks Hungary - many calls these the Ist World War. From Romania, the casus belli is the Hungarian occupation of Slovakia, but everyone knows that Alex Craciun declared conquest as the name of the game, and it is also the ideology of Atlantis: to conquer anything that they can. Romania at the time being an almost 4000 strong country, while Hungary is still under a 1000 citizens and without MPPs - the outcome of the war was never really a question. The newly formed PEACE could send little help to Hungary, and after defending Budapest once in the bloodiest battle of the times, the forces of Hungary and PEACE are spent - the rest of the war is a piece of cake for Romania. By the 4th of September, when admins stop the war module, because of the growing number of bugs, only two original region and two Slovakian remains in Hungary - without even the high grain resource that afterwards caused many problems, especially at the time of the baby-boom.



The occupation of the core regions, including the capital, Budapest, causes a huge shock to Hungary. Most of the players are stuck in Romanian territory, get no job, have no money, can move nowhere, persecuted for writing in Hungarian (there are wanted-lists to report to admins those who spam - meaning to speak Hungarian), for having their own party (RMDSZ) - consequently a great number of them left then, and the remaining ones had no real hope either. The new capital, Győr is home for only a few hundred of the most stubborn players who try to rebuild the economy from the ruins (as most companies were in Budapest too), to move people from Romania, and most importantly to try and recruit new players. At the end of the month Rizsa, majd Rommel Erwin tries to start negotiations with Romania, but Alex Craciun's conditions were impossible, as he demanded thousands of golds (2000 gold/region) and the Slovakian regions for a peace-treaty - at the time, when Hungary's monthly income was around a dozen or so gold. Rommel Erwin presides only for a week, before resigning because of political attacks - the legends also tell about a financial scandal in the background, but no details are known. Morreau leads the country till the end of the month, but the era also sees adam111 (later Adam Zahovay) to come forth.

The start of the V.1. weakens Hungary's economy even more, as the lack of high resources put the country into an even bigger disadvantage. The unbalanced economical modul and the quests for resources, coupled with the lack of player-workers made it almost impossible to build a working economy in the country. As a side-note for the II. WW, Romania uses the expiry of Hungary's only MPP with Indonesia (having no financial means to make more) and conquers Southern Transdanubia, thereby reducing Hungary to Győr only - the lowest point of the country's existence. The end of the year sees the MNB-scandal, when Lord Gera steals the contents of it by finding out the ridiculously easy password - but the money later gets back to Adam.

It took a real character to do this daunting task, the rebuilding of the country: nowadays players know little about Adam Zahovay, but we, who lived in the last months of 2008 know that without him there would be no Hungary, as we know it now. I joined the game during his first presidency, and so back then, as a green newbie I could not appreciate it fully, but looking back he, and the others of the time did enormous work. This era was also the first time, when Hungary's citizenship grew noticeably from the blogosphere and Travian; not a real baby-boom, but by the end of the year, the population reaches 2000, and with the necessary resource-mining colonies in Brazil, Norway and Indonesia, and the minority in Romania it is even more. Adam continues negotiating with Romania, and slowly, as the population grew, the conditions also became better - at one time they were almost accepted too, only admins did not implement the agreed details (monthly automatic payment from Hungarian treasury).



But it all changed when Romania decided to conquer Russia's resource-rich regions - and Russia, newly liberated from Norway's clutches, turned to PEACE for help against them. This at the time meant Hungary, which had an open war with Romania, and the attack on the original Hungarian regions would block Romania, but would not activate their MPP-s. So, in January Hekkat, after an almost signed peace-treaty attacks Central Transdanubia, and Romania retreats - bugs barred Hungary to attack further, and the delay was enough for them to conquer the necessary Russian regions. The reclaiming of a region caused much joy at the time, but was considered as perfidy by Romania, and closed down the peace-negotiations too. The stopping of the negotiations and the necessary blocks for the Russian front bring the era of the famous SGP battles - many times Hungary tried to reclaim the high grain region, but military-wise Hungary was still no match for Romania, not to mention the misfortunes with the bugs in the war module. The Slovakian regions are also given back by RW-s, to thwart the allegedly planned Romanian moves by which they wanted to get a border with Italy, to attack them straight on - at the time the Italian military is considered the pillar of PEACE, along with Indonesia - and prime target for the growing Romania, wanting to reach world-domination.

February was my presidency, and basically no matter what I/we did, it is remembered not for those things, but for the index-boom. The 9th of February, that changed the face of the New World for a long-long time... Never before, and for a long time after has eRepublik seen so many thousands of people registering in the span of a few days - the population of eHungary at the end of the month is over 6000, and no matter how much Atlantis is mocking them as babies, we knew that in time we will be stronger than the far fewer old tanks of the old world powers. We knew that time was on our side, if only we could keep those people in the game. Without bragging I can say that our social affairs and educational organisations were at the time surpassing anything else - much what other countries implement nowadays were invented by us back then. The new population was trained in MPP battles, for which we made uneasy compromises sometimes - like the controversial contract with Germany, that gave us Burgenland, but pushed Germany towards Atlantis... and also the unlikeliest event in eRep history, a training battle with Romania. The negotiations also started again but even dsalageanu's lighter terms were by that time unacceptable, and he had to start the planned Asian campaign with eHungary's open war behind.

The growing, but militarily not strong population is being indoctrinated then by the idea of PTO-s; the famous slogan of 'your vote is a stronger weapon than your hit' reverberates for months in people's subconscious, thereby giving them hope, and reason to stay, until their military skills grow slowly. Besides the successes of the social and educational system, this gave us the other necessary element in retaining so many people... and so March sees the famous, attempted PTO in Romania and the one in Ukrain which I wrote about elsewhere, and with it a coalition government, starting the cooperation of the previously inimical MHP and KARD, that after this lead the country for much of its success-story. It was not an easy relationship between the two main parties, but Feherlofia Koppany, Shaok and Kampec from May till July not only reclaimed the original regions of Hungary, but together with PEACE and Indonesia pushed back Romania behind its original borders, enclosed it with MPP-defended countries, conquered half of Europe, liberated Serbia, and went on to conquer Canada and the USA... the strategical brilliance of these men cannot be left out from any story.... no matter what others may think of them or their actions later, but they represented the height of the Hungarian Empire, that spanned from Heilongjiang, China through Nordjylland in Denmark till Saskatchewan in Canada, enclosed around 50 regions in Europe, Asia and North-America, had all the high resources from Canada and China, was run by over 20 000 people, represented the biggest GDP and PTO-force, and proudly boasted of having not only the greatest army that erep so far has had, but the strongest as well...

As May brings the final defeat of Romania and Atlantis it also brings some less glorious events too - like the surfacing of the famous gold-bug, this time in the national currencies market; first the Serbian monetary is ruined with hundreds of thousands of RSD, then the same is about to happen in the HUF market - before admins lock it down and for a few days, all monetary trading goes to the black markets. Besides this, another mistake is done by the never too good diplomacy (in which we have always been too arrogant); the attempted but unsuccessful PTO of the theocratic state of Switzerland is alienating them from PEACE, and later it often proves decisive in battles. Atlantis is declaring its breaking up, as Sweden attacks Germany, another member; and the rest is pretty much divided on this issue too. The PTO in Spain is unsuccessful, as Indonesia needs help against Romania's voters. Ukraina's regions get back to them one by one, and Hungary plans on having iron from Urals and oil from Kaukazus.

June sees much movement and regions changing hands, as Romania tries to gain Podolia back - unsuccessfully, at least by military means - so the use their always good propaganda to alienate Ukraina from us. The presidential elections bring PEACE successes in the contested countries, and in Hungary Shaok's victory. Shaok gets impeached almost immediately; his plans for the elite, the initial mistrust from many and the total irresponsibility in the planned government makes his presidency less than perfect. Hungary, together with France and Italy liberate Germany from the Swedes and Poland - the unnamed campaign rolls over it easily, as by this time few can stand against Hungary's military power. In the trubled internal political situation of the party president elections, Central Greece battle is lost, and it is still mainly contributed the bad preparation of the MoD.

On the other hand, the economy is going well, as expected from the more economically inclined Shaok - the foundation of NAT is a great accomplishment, even with the black mark at the end of his presidency, when he tries to blackmail the future presidents with a contract that admins declare invalid, and with not handing over the passes of the eMNB and the NAT. After many fiasco, the military also goes out in a high note - the memorable and epic battle in Vojvodina that Hungary won against Croatia and 9 MPPs is something to remember. The congress elections bring the greatest successful PTO on erep: Serbians and Hungarians together bring home 57 % from the Croatian congress - thereby paying them back their PTOs in Serbia that ruined and robbed the country. Domestically, the congress-elections end in a scandal, when Mikrobi steals the congress org, and does not give over the forum pass to the elected head of the congress, Feherlofia Koppany. The July elections bring a great battle between Shaok and Kampec - with the latter winning it, and promising great things to happen.



It did not take long to start the campaign; 10th July sees Hungary conquering Scotland according to a contract, while Japan declares war to Indonesia, to give them way to USA. Besides France, Portugal and Russia await with their active MPPs, to join the melee. But before it starts, PEACE liberates Litvania's high grain from Finland, in a surprise manouver - one that made the baltic states firmly stick to PEACE's side. Then it is T-Day, 13th July - the start of the North-American campaign, with France and Hungary advancing in Canada. The next day sees Russia step in to Alaska, and the former Atlantis countries starting their blocking battles against PEACE. Hungary is advancing in former Canadian regions, not activating MPP-s, with the help of UK, who decided to join PEACE. I shall not write here the details of the campaign, only the end-result for Hungary; the conquest of several Canadian and USA regions, and the land-swaps through Asia, which brought us Heilongjiang, or as we affectionately call is: Helokitty. It is necessary, as the result of the Russian baby-boom, we must give back both Urals and Caucasus.

Domestically it is smaller scandals again, as both the battle in Croatia and Podolia is lost. Ukraina is starting its turncoat-policy, and dallies again with Romania. The congress PTO of Italy by Croats is making Italians dissatisfied with PEACE, and later it leads to breaking off from it. The Polish PTO of Germany brings erep's second greatest fail to them, as they print over 600 k DEM, but could not donate it out from the treasury, and by an agreement Hungary occupies Germany's regions to snatch most of this printed DEM from the Poles. The elections bring the victory of Falban, whom many thinks to be only a puppet, and whom later proves not to be one by the strangest actions... the only impeached president for a long time, who sold out the state companies for far less than their worth, who bought the worthless theocrat companies, whom donated out money from the treasury to private persons - one night was enough to wreak havoc in the Hungarian government and state institutions... rlazol, who became president was on holiday, and could not do a lot. He was destined to be a great president but not this way...

But still, those were the heydays of the Hungarian Empire. From there, we could not go upwards any more, we did not find any more goals worth striving for, any enemies worth fighting with... so we turned inwards, and lacking any enemy that were capable of destroying us, we managed it from the inside. I guess it did start with that cursed Spanish gold, that was the beginning of our downfall... before that we had arguments and disagreements (as Burgenland and the interests of the PEACE have always been the point of divergence for many), but the spanish gold lifted the internal arguments onto the level of an internal war. It followed the conquest of Switzerland, as it started to block Hungary, and so needed to be occupied - the theocrats moved to South-Korea from there. The Spanish government wanted to hide its 16 k gold in a small wood company, but did not notice that it was for sale in their company-market. As Hungarian intelligence was following this gold, they acted immediately, and bought the company - with all the gold inside. Admins examined the case but did not find any suspicious in it, so we (and french treasury) got it finally.





The whole world laughed at the Spaniards for days... but we started to argue about it, where it has gone, who stole it, who did what with it and why... it was a sorry affair that made the mood dark and poisoned in the country. The very end of rlazol's presidency saw the darkest moment in eHungarian history: the civil war in Burgenland. It started some south-americans coming to Austria, to make a new home there, and they asked back, as PEACE members Burgenland. A congress voting denied this, but next morning a civil uprising, led by the Invisible Legion started to RW Burgenland. The RW divided eHungarian society, like nothing else before. Probably hundreds of people left then, from both sides, because the mood was so awful, as it should never be in a mere game.

September was quieter with Imre Norbert presiding over it, and putting back the economy on its feet. Diplomatic talks started to release Switzerland to the Swiss, but a bug prevented them to have a congress, so the former president, DomiBoss passed such laws alone as he wanted... later Switzerland did go over to Eden, which most eHungarians consider still as a betrayal, more than Ukrain's, which was PTO-ed by Romania, and blackmailed into forming ties with them. The month saw the loss of the canadian regions one by one, as we went from easy victories, to harder and harder won battles with continously being blocked as well... as Eden regrouped and regained initiative; and also they organized a powerful mobile force, the EMC - the divided Hungarian society, which bled internally, could not cope with these attacks. By the end of the month all north-american regions are lost, Switzerland and Austria given back, and only Helokitty and the important strategic region in Denmark, Nordjylland remains in Hungarian hands. October brings much the same, only capped off by a surprise attack on Slovakia, which resulted in the complete annexation of the country, just as Kolozs gave over the presidential buttons to Termetes Samu. This last flaring up of the once mighty empire did not last long though; admins helped to Poland and EMC to regain Slovakia, and for fearing a block, we gave up the last region, Bratislava too. The end of Termetes Samu's presidency and that of the SZP party was again brought about by Burgenland; a 'just for fun' surprise attack on an ally met with such an internal opposition that he resigned and gave over the rule to raszta, making him the first CNRP president.



Ever since eHungary is trying to defend Helokitty, moving almost the whole of Hungary's population there, giving up all unnecessary regions where we could be blocked, and stockpiling gold and weapons to its defense. PEACE itself dissolved in the meanwhile, France's actions, or rather inaction, and some growing burocracy caused all the powerful memebers to leave it, and form a new alliance: Phoenix. Right now, as I write this, Eden and Phoenix is again at the brink of another world war - all Eden nations are watching hungrily the former chinese aand indian high iron regions; meaning Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Karnataka; their plans are ready as to how they will divide them amongst each other and how they can reach them - occassionally getting admins' help and 'accidental' bugs that always seem to help them, when their strength is not enough. We, Hungary are dwindling, going into Indo's way, as the population both grows older and stronger, but lesser too. We still think ourselves as Nr. 1 power on erep, but in fact, our enemies are stronger now, because they can work together more - and can spend money, gold more. But still, we have showed once more that nobody can stand up against us if we unite: The whole country lined up once more behind the common cause, when the Szekler Legion was threatened by admins, and we did win, and they had to admit being wrong.

And so we will go down, maybe not tomorrow or next week - but for sure we will. It is the tendency, as even the great danger could not unify the country, as the differences remained so great that many rather hit against Hungary in a battle than beside... many left for other countries and many left the game altogether - admins' injustices also made many of us think that against them we cannot win, so there is no point in trying even. But they are only one factor in the fall of Hungary - not even a decisive factor. Historical necessity brought it about, inevitable fallacies, unavoidable mistakes, and sometimes our stupidity to rather fight amongst ourselves than make peace.

And still...

I am glad to have seen eHungary grow great and be great.

I am proud of what we have achieved here, on erep.

I am sad that it came to this... but this is life.
